Free is a decade-long documentation of upholstered furniture abandoned to the elements, often accompanied by a "free"sign. Framed as environmental portraits, the work isolates objects of comfort that were once the central anchors of a home, now discarded on the periphery. This physical displacement acts as a mirror for a shared human vulnerability. It strips away the illusion of permanence, asking us to confront how easily any of us could be displaced.
